On the Cannabis Side is a family owned, independent cannabis dispensary in Tecumseh.
We’ve been a part of the cannabis industry, since even before legalization.
Both Gerard and Wendy had cannabis prescriptions that helped turn their lives around, long before it was legal to have a cannabis store in Tecumseh.
Cannabis has made a huge difference in our lives, and we want to help anyone over the age of 19 to expand their cannabis knowledge. This way they can start taking advantage of all the wonderful benefits that cannabis has to offer.
One of our main goals On the Cannabis Side is to continue destigmatizing cannabis in all its forms. More than that, we aim to offer all of our customers a welcoming, comfortable place for them to explore cannabis products, regardless of their needs or experience level with cannabis.

The staff and business itself are amazing you can take my word for it I met 2 of the bud tenders.. I highly recommend this establishment because staff is very polite and knowledgeable on the products. Overall a great experience. Get in there folks. Funny earlier I put my review on the wrong location now it's fixed 🤣🔥
They open at 9 but when I went at 9:22 the door was locked and said gone on break… not the best look to be closed 22 minutes after open .
Went in to the store after dinner next door and met with sales rep Sean. Wow, what amazing customer service. He was helpful, knowledgeable and so friendly. Sean mentioned more than once about how proud he is to work for the store and how proud he is of the product and competitive pricing the store offers. I have to say, that is someone you want fronting your business. It was so refreshing to talk to someone with a positive personality and uplifting perspective. He is just grateful to have a job. Because of Sean I will now be changing distributors and will gladly go out of my way to support On The Cannibas Side.
They lost a loyal customer. I wouldn't recommend this cannabis distillery. I was unfortunate enough to have run into an employee that works there with a very short fuse. She raised her voice at me in front of other people in the store and when I had proceeded to leave, I overheard her talking negatively about me with everyone that had remained in the store with her. She should have simply educated me nicely instead of raising her voice at me. I never raised my voice, or disrespected her back in any way despite the treatment that I had received from her. Terrible customer service...
Terrible Customer Service and Poor Quality Products
I recently purchased a vape cart for $30+tax, and it was a complete waste of money. The cart had a terrible taste and smell.
While the staff were friendly on my initial visit, calling me "babe" and "honey," their customer service fell apart when I returned with an issue. The first response was, "And we are back," followed by immediate denial and finger-pointing without even acknowledging or listening to my concerns. They went into defense mode, ultimately saying, "We can't do anything about it, sorry, too late," indicating no interest in retaining customers.
The store also has a limited variety, especially in vape products. For seasoned connoisseurs, this place is a rip-off. The vape cart they recommended was absolute trash, which highlights their lack of understanding or perhaps a preference for subpar products.
I will not be returning and advise others to avoid this place if possible.
