Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

my complaint is about staff competence and operations slow service confusion at checkout,and a consistently disorganized environment. i'd appreciate a response focused on the actual service problems raised in the review.
Original review : Discount store but you pay in bad service and wasted time. Ultra Slow service. Tall guy with a tuque and glasses is clearly on power trip and seems to be micromanaging everything but the order itself. This store is super disorganized. Constant staff changes, super nervous anxious energy inside. I'm done coming to this dump. There are many cannabis stores in a close proximity.
Ali (old woman with white hair) served me, came and grabbed my phone out of my hand (never told her to grab my phone or showed her I wanted her to hold it) , I told her 3 times what I wanted and even showed her I took a picture of the name and tag, she is clueless as to of the products the store has and when I was grabbing the picture for her the second time she yelled at me, and I told her one second mamm and still treated me rudely and very much with force. Please get better and nicer people at this location she is very unwelcoming.
The staff at this location are absolutely amazing! They are super friendly and knowledgeable. They also love when I bring my dog in. I "highly" recommend stopping in!
Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a Canna Cabana. I've been a regular customer at CC for almost 2 years, but the so-called lady "manager" working the evening shift at 10275 Jasper Ave on August 21, 2025 was nothing but rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional.
On August 12th, I purchased a Hard Hitters Liquid Diamond Blueberry Octane cart along with a tribal power shreb battery. It came with a white top instead of the usual black, so I immediately asked staff if it was the correct cart as it usually comes with a black top and has a little logo to it. They reckoned that it was fine and probably new packaging. A few days later, the cart started clogging and wasn't hitting properly like any regular liquid diamond cart does. I returned with my receipt and packaging, well within the 14-days policy, just to raise the issue.
Instead of helping, the manager accused me of swapping the cart and flat-out refused to verify even remotely in her capacity. She ridiculed any chance of any packaging change or sales error, the salesman, where I even opened the same cart in store on CCTV camera after purchasing it on Aug 12th while asking him the question. Instead, she yelled "I'M THE MANAGER" as if that excused her ignorance, and then opened a completely different flavour by Hard hitters just to prove me wrong instead of checking the actual product (Blueberry octane) that I paid for.
I don't even care about refunds or exchange. I discard a cart every two to th ..
Very friendly staff, I wanted an item. But I couldn't get it because I wasn't wasting money on an overpriced elite membership, an employee gave me a good alternative. Many good items are locked behind a $35 a month elite membership and aren't available for purchase unless you have a membership which is stupid. There's a reason why I don't come to this location often. No other dispensaries have this sort of issue. I was trying to buy a preroll that had been sold out at other locations. This was the only place that had it in stock but couldn't get it because I didn't have the membership. Definitely won't be coming back to this dispensary again.
