Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

im pretty new to weed or whatever and walked in not knowing what I wanted or what would even make sense for me. emma was amazing and charismatic, she wasn't pushy, and she helped me figure out what would work, even sharing her personal faves
I ended up buying flower based on her suggestion and after trying it... was exactly what I needed.

Normally I like Canna Cabana. The one employee, Juan, doesn't seem to know what's going on most of the time. Just seems confused as to why customers are coming in the store. The eyes always look like he has used the product before starting his shift. Customers have to prompt him to get what they're looking for. Extraordinarily rude as well for no apparent reason. The rest of the staff are pleasant, helpful and not perpetually stoned. There is never a line up in store with other employees only with this one. Even a tiny sense of urgency would be great to see. I had enough time to do this whole entire review before he helped the one person in front of me and three more got in line behind me.
I walked in while I was in a hurry, waited for the employee to help the customer in front of me. The employee then interrupted me as I tried to ask for a product and told me he was going to serve the person behind me in line because they had entered the store first. Even though I had been ready and waiting. What should have been a quick 2 min stop ended up being over 10 minutes, and I have never felt so disrespected at any store.
Came in not knowing what type of flower to get. Was thinking hybrid but really didn't know. Saw blue dream said ya I'll go with that, clerk said ya lower thc but still a great buy. Said some people love it some people don't. I've smoked it in the past but never knew anything about it. He broke it down for me. Went home, tried it, best product I've had in recent memory. Thank you for your expertise
Absolutely disgusting service im a die hard canna cabana girl and this location is less the sub par. I went in there to return a product that had a burnt coil (tasted like burnt hair) when I went in I was greeted by Rachel. Rachel told me she needed to take my disposable vape into the back and try it to make sure it was defective. She took my vape, smoked it in the back room and then came up front where juan (the manager) proceeded to tell me he could not return the vape because it was from a different location (which is completely fine) my issue is now that Rachel took my product that I paid for... smoked it in the back where I couldn't see her put her lips on my product and I repeat SMOKED MY PRODUCT!! Just to be told I cant return it and sent me on my way. Juan then proceeded to tell Rachel that the prodocal was to take the customer out front and have them show you that its defective not smoke it in the back room on shift! So now im sent away with a burnt coil vape that the employee smoked some of on my dime just to send me away all while not following proper protocol. I would recommend the amazing staff over on 14th street any day super friendly super helpful so so respectful and knowledgeable when it comes to products.
