You're Always Welcome At Canna Cabana!
Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

Staff have been less than friendly lately. I used to love the staff here. As well as forcing customers to stand outside in the freezing cold waiting for a staff member to answer the doorbell is not very welcoming.
Placed am order for delivery yesterday BEFORE the 4pm cutoff time for delivery, waited until 8:30pm before calling and finding out the manager never placed my order, and I was told I'd have it between 11am and 2pm. Called around 2:30 and was told the delivery driver had it. Waired again until 4:30pm and still nothing. Finally got told around 6:30 that the delivery driver called a different phone number than I provided with the delivery instructions, and had my ordee cancelled on me. Not impressed with the website, the manager or the delivery driver. Currently waiting for a refund, but with how the rest of how my transaction and interactions have gone, I'm not holding my breath on getting it.

Changed to 1 star because like expected, I never got my refund from these crooks.
This place has turned from the only place I would consider going to, to the point I'm actively looking for somewhere else, even if less convenient. I would have considered the old employees friends, extremly friendly, chatty, knowleadabgle and non judgmental. Very often often have in depth conversations.
As of recent, besides a couple of employees, you get a dirty look for walking in, if you get a look at all. More often than not the one or 2 employees on the floor are COMPLETLY ignoring you besides the initial annoyed look over. They then continue to do whatever they are doing without a single word as people are standing there waiting for service. Not a single word not a hello or a "someone will be with you shortly" completly ignored until the one poor employee servicing every customer comes out of the back and has to apologize to the 4 people standing around while 1-3 people do inventory. All but a few of the employees don't actually want to be there.
And the absolute worst part is the new manager that thinks she is God's gift to the industry. Answering questions you didn't even ask or explaining very basic things in a very condescending tone like you are in kindergarten to inflate her own ego. And any time you question something, she seems to take it personally as an offense to her. It is the most unpleasant experience dealing with her, I will actively wait for another employee.

Reviewing on behalf of my bf. He is a regular and used to rave about this location and drives out of his way because the employees were the best. Lately he's noticed the decrease in good service - understandable sometiems. But today he wasn't helped nor greeted kindly, and then when he asked for his item he was rushed to leave. Dispensaries should be a welcoming and friendly environment, not an in and out thing. Plz go over customer service with your employees
Spectacular service. Throughout my experiences with dispensaries, Cana cabana and this location in particular takes the cake. Friendliest staff you'll meet, very competitive prices with exceptionally high quality products. Overall 10/10 experience Every. Single. Time.
