Parking isn't the greatest for this store. I had to park a block over, which is normal for Whyte Ave. Everything was displayed on the walls. Once I knew what I wanted, I went to the cashier and placed my "order" he went to grab the item and mentioned that I should take a receipt in case there is an issue with the product, I appreciated the receipt tip. I would not have thought of that.
After having a very unpleasant and off putting experience with the 112th location, this location off whyte ave helped me with the exchange I needed, in an efficient and kind manner. They truly wanted to help. Josh was super sweet and understanding and immediately got on helping me with my exchange. His co worker Carla helped my partner with his purchase, and she was amazing. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The patience, kindness, and professionalism was top notch. You both made our day.
I usually stop by Value Buds when I'm grocery shopping because it's convenient, and they're known for being friendly and helpful. But my visit on Monday around noon was extremely disappointing.
I asked the staff member for "Purple Churro" and "Sour Patch." He told me they didn't have either one. When I looked up at the board, both products were clearly listed. When I pointed it out, he didn't apologize or try to help. He just said "ok?" in a very dismissive way.
I left and went to my regular store instead because the attitude made me feel unwelcome. I had grocery bags with me and I wasn't dressed up, but that shouldn't affect how customers are treated.
This isn't the level of service Value Buds is known for, and it honestly tarnishes the store's reputation. I hope management sees this and addresses the customer service issues at this location. I felt so unwelcomed and judged.
Great store - been dropping btwn 400-600 dollars there per month for the last 2 years. Great staff except for dipstick 'tender "James". He could do with a course in customer service / relations.
I really like the staff here and it's the cheapest place I've found. Josh is my fave bud-tender there, very friendly and knowledgeable!
