Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

Tried to go there at 2:45pm nobody answered the door, 2 other customers came up and we all waited another 5 to 10 minutes. Eventually one of the other customers called the store and was told the employee is on break and will be back in 15 mins. We went home, waited 20mins and went back. Still nobody answered the door, another employee came to the door apologized and said they need another 30mins as they needed to stock shelves at 3:30pm. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional, if the store hours are listed as open and the open sign is on then they should be ready to serve customers not stocking shelves.
As the Cana Cabana team responded I figured I would update my review. I wasn't able to go back until late that night around 7 or 8pm when I arrived I went to purchase my product and discovered not one of the price tags matched the products I was looking for , making it almost impossible to choose a affordable product. When we mentioned it the the employee he shrugged us off and was very dismissive. Seemed like he didn't care at all, when I got up to pay I asked if he needed the phone number, he didn't take my phone number and then proceeded to just run the product through and just charge me without member discount. This location used to be one of the best under old management and now under its new manager it's always a chore to shop there, very unorganized and staff is downright rude. I will be taking my buisness somewhere else from now on.
I Had a great experience at Canna Cabana Sage Hill last evening. The store was a bit of a mess when I came in, but Ana and Sam navigated everything perfectly and made the visit easy I will definitely be returning to see Ana soon. Sam was covering during my stop, and both of them were friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful. The products they recommended were amazing, and I even ended up grabbing an Elite Membership thanks to their guidance. Definitely will be back — and wherever Sam is normally located, that store has a wonderful employee. She did such great work. Great service all around.
Chucks and Ayo really took care of me during my visit! Their service was friendly, helpful, and they knew their stuff. The vibe in the store was on point too, good music and a chill atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back!

Chuks is hands down one of the best budtenders I've come across! He's always super knowledgeable, friendly, and makes every visit a great experience. He takes the time to listen, gives thoughtful recommendations, and makes sure you leave with exactly what you're looking for.
