I love shopping at this Calgary Co-op. It is conveniently located where I usually shop so it's never out of the way.
The store is so clean and bright. Everything is stocked up and organized. It is never that busy so it is great if you want a quiet shopping experience.
Huge thank you to Dave in the Deli department who came in to save the day when the Signal Hill Superstore cancelled my sandwich platter order a half hour before pick up. Called Coop and Dave pulled together an amazing sandwich platter that was likely better than anything the Superstore would have done. Piled high with deli meats, fresh and beautifully put together. It was ready to go within the hour. Dave is officially my hero.
Worst pharmacy ever. Says order will be ready in 30 minutes. Come back 2 hours later still not ready. Waited 20 minutes still no meds. Stood in line again & the order is ready but of course they let me sit there instead of telling me it.was ready. Other dude given the wrong meds. Not even sure I got the right meds. You are literally putting your life at risk going to this pharmacy. Avoid at all cosr.
Going somewhere else.
I always loved going to the Co-op gas station and the gas attendants and workers are usually the young kids, and they're fantastic. Actually, everybody that works there is fantastic. But last night, I went in and I needed air in my tire, and unfortunately, I don't know how to do it. I don't know if the ethnic man was the manager or a new owner that took over this Co op but he said, it's a safety hazard, they will show me how to do it.But they will no longer do it. He was extremely rude and I will definitely not be going back to that Co op again. It's actually embarrassing the way he treated me. I couldn't even imagine an elderly person going in and having him say the same thing to them as well, and that was one of the things I appreciated about the Co op was the customer service. At one time you actually took pride in your customer service, but he was also being very rude 21 of the young ladies that was working there too so I really would bypass this Co op and not go to that one.
I went in for a pie for Thanks Giving dinner and was mostly sold out. Ali from the bakery department was very helpful and told me about a fresh batch if i had a few mins. She went above and beyond and even offered me a container so I won't burn myself. It's because people like Ali, loving her job and sending positive vibes; making Calgary such a fun place to live. Thumbs up for excellent customer service!
