Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

My new favourite place to go! I went in over the weekend, and the most delightful employee tended to me. I'll admit, I'm kind of new, so I've just been exploring, I had maybe too many questions, but she answered each one with a smile. It was a great experience overall and I'll be returning, hopefully when the girl with the blue hair is working again, I forgot to grab her name, but she is amazing and so welcoming! A++ customer service!
The rudest person i've ever had to deal with in my life. The female employee working today Sat Oct 18th with colourful hair, was disgustingly rude. She first offended me by rolling her eyes at my ID card and arguing that that's not my photo. And then proceeds to help the person who walked in AFTER me as I'm standing right in front of her waiting to get help. And she did not even want to help it's like she is forced to do her job properly… awful experience never going back. Prices are also too high.
I forget to review this store when I visited in July. The Bud tender at the front was VERY kind and went out of her way to assist me with my purchase. I was visiting from out of the area and this store did not disappoint in place of my regular store at the time. The line moved quickly and efficiently and the product knowledge that I received was very helpful and appreciated. I enjoyed my smoke. I hope my experience will be 5 Star the next time I'm passing through!
Very nice store. Super friendly staff, especially Trina, who unfortunately had to deal with a very rude and angry older customer, but she remained calm and professional throughout. Lots of selection and good prices
