Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

I like this spot. Good welcoming staff, excellent pricing. Product is always great.
My concern is always waiting before I can actually come in. I pre-order on the app 100% of the time for speed, and the fact that I still have to wait in line to get in and then wait to get the product always adds time. I like to be in and out within 2 minutes. And usually here, I'm in and out around 5-7 minutes even with a pre order. And for me, that's a deterrent and I go to other places because of it...if I knew the service would be faster, it would be here 100% of the time vs. about the 30% I currently go to this location.
Save a dollar, wait at the door for id then wait in line for the purchase. Today the CSR was very good. On most occasions they are grumpy and act like they are doing the customer a favour when it is supposed to be the opposite.
I came in 15 min before closing and asked for a disposable pen, the lady in a rush grabs me a pen cart, after I've reached home and realized what happened, I gave a call back for her to try her best to get me off the phone asap, realizing she was not going to help, I asked her to leave a note for the morning shift the next day, the morning shift did not receive a note and said they would do an investigation(which odds are she's just gonna cap saying I asked for what I got). Now I'm left with a pen cart I don't want! Would be great if they offered some sort of help at all. From my understanding, seems like the short girl with braces during the last 15 min of their opening hours usually comes with a bad experience.
This location has pretty good customer service. The employees are all very attentive, helpful, and empathetic. However, I've been having an ongoing issue with product availability at this location.
I usually purchase the same couple of products that I like every time I go. One of the products I usually purchase is the Homestead Triple Berry Live Resin Indica gummy. This specific product is discounted on the Elite membership, which I purchased specifically to get this product since I buy it frequently. However, for the last 4 weeks this product has been out of stock. I have requested multiple times to have it ordered but was told the store manager has no control over which products are ordered or restocked since the products are ordered by higher ups in the company. This seems odd to me as I would assume the employees working in the store would have a better idea of what products need to be ordered compared to people working off-site.
I feel like I wasted money buying the elite membership since they won't restock the products that are available on the elite membership which doesn't make much sense to me either. I've also been asking for the Port North Lemon Hashers which have been out of stock for about 3 months. Its quite unfortunate that product availability isn't being taken seriously at this location, even for items included in the paid memberships.
If I don't see an improvement in this, I won't be renewing my membership and will be switching to a different di ..
I came today at about 10:55 PM. The staff was extremely rude and was in a rush. I get it the store was about to shut but being rude could have been avoided. I do not know the name of the staff member but do describe her, she was a short girl with black hair. Worst shopping experience
