Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

They bring the good products for only a short period of time to bring the numbers up and as soon as the numbers go up, they stop receiving the good stuff. Im there 5 times a week and yet the same girl cards me every single time like she has Alzheimer's. Its super disrespectful to not remember customers that are there 5 times a week spending their hard earned money. This place has become garbage. Their shelves for infused prerolls are completely empty all the time. Got to find another good spot. They new employees have no knowledge about anything. Theyre clueless.
I'm extremely disappointed and irritated with this specific store. If I could give it ZERO starts I would. Last night my girlfriend and I went in to buy a Pre-roll. When it was time to pay I tapped my phone something went wrong and I was asked to try again. After I tapped my phone for a second time I then went onto my "Apple pay" just to check and It showed that I was charged 2x. I then told the lady that she accidentally charged me twice and I showed her the transactions on my "Apple pay." The manager then came and was extremely rude, combative, raising his voices at us and said he'll take my name and number and when he counts his till if he has an extra $10 he'll call me. Well today has come it's now almost 2pm and I haven't heard from them so I called. I asked to speak with a manager the gentleman ask what it was regarding so I gave him a brief snipit. He then asked me to hold on came back and said I'll take your name and number someone will call you back. This is extremely unprofessional! If I went into their shop took 2 blunts and I only paid for 1 that would be considered stealing. So by them double charging me they just STOLE from me. At this point it's not about the money his about ethics and principal and I will not let this go. I will contact the Better business bureau and have them investigate this location because I'm sure I'm not the first person they've done this to, I'm just that 1 person that won't roll over and let this go.
Absolutely terrible experience at Canna Cabana. I went in regarding a defective product after also paying for an Elite Membership. The manager was dry, dismissive, and full of attitude. Instead of helping, he brushed me off and told me to "contact customer service" — like it wasn't his problem.
When I mentioned I'd be leaving a Google review, he smugly said, "We love them," clearly showing he couldn't care less about customers. That attitude says everything you need to know about this place.
If you value your money and expect even basic respect, take your business somewhere else. Plenty of dispensaries actually care — Canna Cabana clearly doesn't. Avoid at all costs also over priced compared to other canna cabba locations
Came in yesterday for 420. The guys were nice but hot damn, they all had varying degrees of Body odor that slapped you in the face any time they moved. One dude had filthy teeth and bad bo, i think he was a manager.
Super nice helpful guys but we need to raise our hygiene game to Canadian standards and not be afraid to say something if we intend to adopt so many new Canadians into our culture and country. Hygiene matters, especially in customer service. There are lots of natural, alcohol free, and effective deodorants on the market that this sort of thing is really inexcusable.
