The staff were incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor, making check-in such a fun experience. The beer at the bar was perfectly chilled and reasonably priced, and the food we had with it was truly the best in town. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of hot water and cozy bedding that made for a great night's sleep.
I accidentally left my bag at the bar, and they kindly brought it up to my room right away — I was so grateful for that! From check-in to check-out, their kindness and hospitality were unforgettable. Thanks to them, I now have such a wonderful memory from my first visit to Winnipeg.
Staff at the bar is amazing. The live band was great.

Very Disappointed - Left Without a Place to Stay
I had a truly upsetting experience with Booking.com and Nor Villa Hotel. I booked a room for the night of July 21st and received a confirmation, so I expected everything to go smoothly. But when we arrived, we were told there were no rooms available, even though the hotel was still listed as bookable on the platform.
Nor Villa staff were not helpful or professional at all. Instead of offering a real solution, they tried to upsell us an "executive room" for $600 a night, in a small, old building that smelled musty and looked run-down. It felt like a scam, honestly.
I contacted Booking.com immediately and they eventually sent a confirmation for an alternative hotel — but it didn't arrive until 5:17 AM the next morning. By then, it was too late, and I had no choice but to spend the night in a parking lot. It was incredibly stressful, disappointing, and totally unacceptable.
What's worse is that even after reporting this, I've received no proper apology or compensation from Booking.com. I've used the platform many times before, but after this experience, I no longer trust it. Be careful, confirm with the hotel directly before relying on Booking.com's listings.
Excellent place to stay if in Winnipeg 🇨🇦 Manitoba on a Friday or Saturday to watch the band play at night, crawl to your room🤷ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸. Suite 101 was beautiful and newly renovated. Very comfy beds, clean & spacious. $159/night-worth the moneyðŸ‘ðŸ».
It was awesome experience staying here and the front desk guy was so nice and friendly as I have to get to my car twice to get charger as well as my wallet second time, he was very polite and patient and opened the door as soon as I was there.
Would totally recommend the place with a 5-star rating.
