Nice store with friendly knowledgeable staff, but I can only give 3 stars based on the selection. The selection of flower is very limited compared to other stores. And they don't seem to get new stock in very often, like other stores do. It's been months now and the selection hasn't changed at all (other than losing a few brands) - I had to switch stores do to the limited selection. I'm unsure why every other store has so much more to offer compared to Oceanic stores. I will return one-day...when I see some new flower on their site. Can't keep smoking the same stuff for ever when other stores have so many different strains available. Oceanic: incase you weren't aware...there are literally 1000s of strains out there! Do what other stores are doing or people will just go elsewhere eventually
(Oct 23 at 3:45 PM)Absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated at this dispensary today. The woman working there was straight-up racist and rude from the moment we walked in. She gave us dirty looks like we didn't belong there, then started demanding ID from everyone even though I was the one paying. One of my friends didn't have his ID, and instead of using common sense, she refused to serve me, saying she "knows" we'd all smoke together.
Like seriously? Making assumptions and treating people differently based on how they look is pure racism and unprofessional behavior. My friend doesn't even smoke, but she decided to judge us and deny service just because we came in together. Pathetic customer service and disgusting attitude.
This place seriously needs to rethink who they hire, because people like her shouldn't be representing any business.
Friendly staff and some nice strains.
Poor customer service. Felt like I was crashing a hangout. Short blonde woman with glasses needs real work on the way she talks to people
Just wow! I have been going to Oceanic since they opened, with no issue, and have spent thousands of dollars there at this point. When I wen in yesterday, I was asked for my ID. I am 34 years old, with a very full scruffy beard. I haven't been IDed in like 10 years, so i don't carry one with me. When I told the employee, whom had served me like a dozen times before I didn't have one, they pointed to a sign that says that you must have an ID unless you appear over 40. I live in Portugal Cove, so I wasnt going home, to get my ID, it just wasn't worth it for such a nonsense rule. In what world, does it make sense to have to appear 40 to buy something you only have to be 19 to buy. If I looked like a child I could understand. Sad to say, but I just can't support businesses like this that set arbitrary rules, and make their customer suffer.
