We are regular customers at a few different locations in the north of the city, We always stop by when we're in the city to stock up on our nightly Gummies.
We live an hour and a half out of town and always stop at Canna Cabana, but today was the first & last time we will bother with the East Hills location.
I went in ready to spend $100 on gummies, and the guy behind the counter was flat-out rude, telling me "nope" and that I could only buy 4 packs, Because he couldn't tell me the $100 purchase I wanted because it was illegal to sell me that much. That's not even true. Legally in Alberta, I can buy up to 45 packs of 10 mg gummies in one transaction.
So not only was the service dismissive, but the staff clearly don't even know the law they're supposed to be following. If you can't treat customers with respect or get the basics right, don't expect repeat business.
Me and my cousin went into canna cabana today Saturday August 30/25 at 8:30pm we totally were ignored by the sales lady which was very rude of her, she attended to all the other ppl except us. She was no where professional from the minute we walked in. We wasted 20 mins just standing there. Maybe it's because we are indigenous?! Idk very rude lady.
This store is missing staff, trained, they don't have my order to use online and they have me waiting for more than an hour and only jump the line when more people arrive and don't attend to me.
Don't like the fact that they think they're like a Costco now need to charge you a membership fee just to buy anything that is good. If you don't pay the fee, they want to sell you other stuff that is nothing but garbage all the time used to be a good place, but not now.
I thought I'd leave a review, before I Google a different place to shop, because although I'm 1 minute away, something inside of me just cracked and said, "Not today, Satan!". I hate this store. I hate the people who work here and they the vibes they put out. I'm 38 years old and believe me, I actually do have thick skin, but the way I feel after leaving this place every single time, isn't worth a little bit of weed. The moment you walk in to this place, you can't help but get the feeling that they already want you to leave and that they're going to be mildly and yet visibly annoyed that you might ask them a question. It's not just here, it's every Cana Cabana I've ever been to (which is wild, btw), this one being the worst offender due to proximity. I have a serious question for all of you: why do any of you work in customer service? Are there no other jobs in the city where your brand of passive aggression and misery could be put to better use? Does somebody break into your homes everyday and do something foul to your corn flakes that makes you carry on that foul mood for the rest of the business day? Inquiring minds want to know!
