Today I went to trees on 5th street to buy something new as I was at that mall already (my usual store is bowen road.) I bought a terra labs live resin sap and was happy to go home and try it. I got to my car and checked the product (like always) so if the packaging is messed up I can return it like I have done before without issue. The product was stuck to the lid and the lid won't even fit back on the container. I went right back to return it, and Mckenzie, the customer service rep, said to wait while she reached out to Jason. He then told her not to issue a return and that I had to come back the next day and see him or wait for him to talk to the regional manager. I will not be buying from trees until they make this right. We don't buy from private cannabis stores to get apalling customer service like this. "EDIT" The regional manager reached out to me and denied his workers did anything wrong I strongly recommended you avoid this location I would just avoid trees all together. BC CANNABIS AT COUNTRY CLUB MALL IS WAY BETTER.
First and foremost let me say that the staff at the fifth Street location are all amazing!!!!!
This review is for the district manager/company owner(s) who clearly don't know South Nanaimo at all.
I went in the other day to get some goodies and inquired as to why the bars were being removed from the windows....the amazing team member told me their district manager is removing the film (finally!!), however he has no plans to put the bars back as he wants the shop to appear more "inviting".
If anyone from head office/corporate actually took a stroll around our lovely neighbourhood, maybe speak to other business owners (or take the word of their staff) he would realize how terrible of an idea that is. The theft, property damage and drug-use in and around that complex runs rampant... Keep the bars, paint them white or add glitter but for the sake of your amazing wonderful staff and customers who love your shop I ask you to consider the safety aspect of your decisions, it is a matter of time before Trees is broken into, and your hard working team will have to pick up the pieces, possibly miss work
and continue to feel unsafe.
Very kind and knowledgeable staff. My experience has been great.
