You're Always Welcome At Canna Cabana!

Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.

Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!

After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).

Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

The staff here used to be a 10/10. Went in today and I stood at the door for 5 minutes. There's a sign indicating not to walk in, so I attempted to open and close the door multiple times to get a staff members attention. Being on my lunch break, I didn't have a lot of time so I decided to walk around the corner and say hello, in which they still didn't hear me. I then had to walk to the back of the store where the staff was all laughing away to get their attention. The worker tried to tell me my ID was not valid. It was an Ontarios drivers license. After they could tell I was upset with the service they said " I'll still serve you weed. Do you want to buy weed or not?" To which I kindly replied no, not from here anymore. I would've been a near daily customer, but I'm happy to spend my hard earned money next door at blue bird. Sad, really.

Same as the last person who put on a review. I am 44 and I left my wallet in the car. Hoping to pop in real quick to get my weed for the weekend. Cocky kid at the door wouldn't let me in. I guess I don't really blame him, as somebody probably told him not to let anybody in without ID. Strange though. Whenever I go to any other cannabis shop in the whole city I never get ID'd. So I just went to their closest competitor and spent all my weed money there. Good luck Cana Cannabis!

THe manager is ridiculous, I am 70 yrs old, she asked for my ID, weird but Ok. I go in a few days later and she asked for my ID which I forgot. She refused to serve me. That is insulting. I know I look young but REALLY?? 70? and she HAS ALREADY seen my ID. Worst store ever. Not going back there unless she is gone. BTW she went gray at 16.!!!! Reading the reviews, you need new staff. They get a pleasure from denying service

Prices higher than even other Canna Cabana stores and price match is only for stores within 5km. They also were rude and wouldn't accept a return for what was clearly a bad batch
