Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

I frequently visit Canna cabana. Usually the staff are friendly and helpful. Today the young lady that served me was less than impressed/ annoyed that I came into the store. It appeared I was disturbing her slumber (she looked and sounded like I had woke her up). Very different from what I'm use to.
Nah man, this place wasnt it for me. The 1 person who helped me seemed like they had no idea what they were talking about. This was my first time visiting a dispensery in Canada and it basically ruined the vacation. I was sold something that didnt even work and they didnt give me a refund. Now i understand if they say no refunds, but if you go there yourself you will see. Never going back to Canada again because of this place. I can get exceptional product just down the way.
Worst experience of my life dont do business with this shady company, i was given the wrong products/strain and they refused to return or exchange it because there its not defective. Such bull and now im out $32 of stuff I cant even smoke. If I could i would give 0 stars, staff also has zero knowledge on their products.
They have great prices here if you sign up with them. They have a lot of great products however the people that work there seem either just too stoned to even care, some are rude and don't even know what they're talking about. Like I thought that you had to know some knowledge about what you are selling. Sometimes there are way too many people in there and people have cut jnfront of me a few times in a line, also I have been ignored. Another thing is that they do have a LOT of stock in the back. I was told they were out of something then the next day I went back in and I asked again for that product and this lady that works there said that they had a lot of stock in the back. Laziness? I dont know. But it gets really frustrating just wanting to get in and out.
I used to love this location, I'm not sure what's happened. The last few times I've been in, staff have been utterly clueless about product, and downright rude. The first time, I was willing to let it go - everyone has bad days after all! But it's been a consistent pattern since then, which suggests a deeper management issue. It's almost worth paying more and going to the coop cannabis nearby at this point. Their employees actually want to help you.
