So I go to value buds very often, about 1-2 times a week. One of the reasons I go is they have a policy that if your cartridge clogs they will exchange it for a new one. This is their official store policy, despite the fact that cartridges often do clog. I have asked them in the past, if they would continue to honor it even if it happened often. I was assured that it is their policy and therefore they will honor it. Because of this, I have continued to buy my cartridges there. On average, about one in six will clog. Since it is a policy, I have taken advantage of the fact and returned those cartridges when it happens. Today, the manager told me that this will be the last time that they honor the exchange for me. His reasoning was that he has exchanged several for me and he's not going to continue to do it. I confirmed with him that it is their store policy, and he said, yes but I'm still not going to exchange anymore for you. I asked if he denied that the cartridge was clogged or that it was their policy, and he said I don't deny it, but I'm still not going to do it anymore. So apparently, their policy is only their policy as long as they feel like honoring it. Despite having nothing but good interactions with every other employee at this store, this is not the first time I've had a negative interaction with this specific person.
