Just got home from a very odd and uncomfortable situation, with an employee from this store...
Let me start from the beginning (for context)..
I was a loyal customer of Malibu for about 1 - 2 years (during COVID times)..as they had the batteries/cartridges, that I enjoyed (at that time).. always in stock, and always at the best price in town!
But then, I moved on to other cartridges/batteries, that Malibu does not really stock. .
So then, I had to shop at other stores...
However, I did stop in, late last year to purchase a cartridge...
At the time, I got a lady budtender (can't recall her name)..
Anyways, long story short, she sold me a defective cartridge..and when I tried to exchange it for the same cartridge (while I was still at the store)..she simply told me no!
I thought to myself (at the time)..whatever..I least I got a good discount on it..but I didn't report it...
But then it gets even worse ..
Fast forward to today..I just happened to notice that Malibu had gotten in some recent stock of a cartridge that I have been using recently..
So I select this cartridge for pickup and pay at the store...
I arrive at the store..
But the second I get inside I'm basically interrogated by one of the butenders behind the desk (some dude with a beard)...
And he asks me about some money that was spotted for me for a transaction from some time ago????
I have no recollection of this, as I always pay for my stuff!
I mention it to him..and then he said "whatever ..
What a beautiful shop - love the decor and reading material! Love seeing another independently-owned shop killing it ! Sam was really great to help me find some unique concentrates from the fridge (yay cold storage!) And he, Melissa and Cait were so friendly and kind in answering my questions. The prices are great and I enjoyed browsing the selection of awesome products! Keep up the awesome vibes!!

Sam is absolutely the best guy! He knows what he's doing and has never given me a single bad recommendation. Highly recommended !
My boyfriend has been a loyal customer of this store for over two years, but after what happened tonight, he won't be returning.
While parked in the store's lot (after hours), he was saying goodbye to me and briefly placed his drink beside him; not trash, just holding it while we talked. An employee drove by aggressively, honked multiple times, circled back, and started shouting and swearing from her car, falsely accusing him of littering.
When he calmly explained the situation, she continued yelling and even said, "If you come to our store, I won't serve you."
This level of hostility toward a regular customer; especially over a completely unfounded accusation, is unacceptable. You can even see in the attached photos how far the nearest garbage can is; it's clear he wasn't leaving anything behind.
We're shocked and disappointed by how he was treated. This experience has completely changed how we view this store.
Visited Melissa at Malibu Road store in Aurora. She was so helpful and getting me the right product that I was looking for that they actually had in stock her customer service skills off the map great girl for this job. There MOD drops Work they do actually work water soluble THC. I know I didn't believe it either but this Swiss company Has developed a technology that makes it possible. I can't smoke anymore due to a lung disease kind of funny I had nothing to do with smoking but a big shout out too all the employees at Malibu Road keep up the good work and thanks for keeping us informed and thanks for being transparent.
