A former employee and loyal customer since 2021, I'm disappointed with the service by Flower Haze in recent months. In a phrase, it's hit or miss. Sometimes I come in and I'm served by enthusiastic, helpful and cheerful employees who are happy and eager to serve and make recommendations based off personal experience instead of price point. Other times, I walk in, wait for an employee to serve me or at least acknowledge my existence, and, at times, eventually end up walking out without being served or greeted. Not having a host (as in previous years) makes the ID check experience strange, as I've been a regular customer (and former employee) for 3 years up to this point; I'm already in the store, looking at the menu, with an active store account…why is an employee who served me many times asking to see my ID?? Doesn't feel very nice or respectful. I understand policy, but after 10 or more interactions over the course of years, I expect some acknowledgement as a regular. Maybe some sort of physical member card is a solution to avoid these awkward situations?
I have mixed feelings about this business. If you come in and Mackenzie, Jake, Lita or Parker are working, you will likely have a pleasant, professional service experience. Otherwise, it's a mixed bag. Expect to be recommended products based on their price; worthwhile to check their extensive menu prior to entering the store, and be warned that 2 10mg THC drinks can set you back $15 or more (a bit ridiculous cons ..
