You're Always Welcome At Canna Cabana!

Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.

Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!

After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).

Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

I had been to this location multiple times during a 2 month stay in the city. Served by the same employee every time I went however it was daylight. When I went in after dark, the employee was outside smoking seen my vehicle (sports car) and follows me in. Says oh I need to see ID for the camera…. I have never been IDed at this store and had been served by the same employee each time, sure maybe they are cracking down. Nope a group of young men early 20's come in after me no ID requested. Super creepy that they ID women who are almost 50 but not a group of boys. I was told it's because of my tattoos…. Doubt it, creepy male employees trying to find out peoples personal info. Go to one of the other stores without men trying to prey on female customers. I am never IDed at cannabis stores, this is at the door thing needs to stop. Been to multiple locations in different cities. This store always looks like it just opened or is going out of business, bunch of shipping boxes around, sketchy area with terrible access in a busy corner of the shopping centre. Not very inviting with the barrier at the front.

Got my product, but had to wait in this sketchy looking stall as soon as I walked in so staff could let me in? Have been waiting a full 5 minutes ready, with no one letting me in. Can't even browse products I wanted while I waited for the previous customer to checkout... what a bad business practice. Edit: finally got let in by a coughing employee clearly just coming back from a smoke and should learn how to greet customers. Was rude and not helpful at all.

Terrible service there's never anyone at the front you can hear people talking in the back, but there's only one person working front you got 10 people lined up, stuff also have very poor attitude. Thanks

My favourite place to go in the city! The prices are low cost and the customer service is excellent! Alex knew his research on a vast of majority of the store and explained them with precision and clarity and set me up with some that keep me coming back! No.1 stop and shop in Thunder Bay. Doesn't disappoint.
