Been coming to Stash & Co. for over 1.5yrs. I come in a couple times a week and always chat with the staff. I almost always pick-up a pre-roll before I go skating and last night on the way to the rink my joint fell apart and felt really silly as I was almost at Elgin, a 15min walk from my house. This was an issue because I never skate with my wallet. I still wanted a pre-roll and figured where would be the best place go. I thought about Pikalolo (on Elgin), BlueBird (on Bank), or MyLegacy (on bank) but figured that I should be good at Stash & Co. because they would recognize me. I downloaded the digital pay app and walked from Elgin back to Bank to return to my most frequented spot. They asked for ID, as is expected, but I didn't have any and told them my story. He looked ready to help my situation and to aid my case I looked at 2/3 staff and said to the other guy that 'these two have ID me every time I've come in,' but one 'hero' chimed in a said 'its policy.' I just said, 'ok' and walked out. After a year and a half of engaging with this business, and often compromising to pay higher prices than ByTown Buddz or MyLegacy because I liked the staff, they brush me off like some random stranger. Some nobody with no ties and who is just walking the streets looking to take advantage of this business. I get that it is literally the LAW to ID but once you've checked their ID and you know this customer, you don't keep checking; even the staff I pointed out stopped IDing m ..

Tonight was the second time I went out in the cold and they had closed early at 9. People are going out of their way to be inconvenienced and left to be greeted with a sad sticky note on the door. Not a very reliable place unfortunately. Great when it is open.
