You're Always Welcome At Canna Cabana!

Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.

Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and yes… even getting high!

After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling legal Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it).

Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

Been a frequents customer 2 years now, spend the money for a premium membership. Now i cant even get into the building because my perfectly valid interim liscence isnt accepted valid id even when side by side with my recently expired photo id. I just looked it up and my slip is valid for cannabis purchase in alberta. Thoroughly upset, 100s of dollars a month now going to a different business cause of this.

Was refused entry today to this store despite being a customer there for almost a year. My ID was expired but I had my renewal slip as my id is delayed due to the Canada post strike. Was told that their management/regional manager (someone higher up) told them the renewal slips aren't valid despite being government issued apparently and due to their confusion on AGLC ID requirements they've lost my business entirely. This also coming after I've purchased cannabis from this store multiple times without ever being ID'd in the first place which I know isn't proper practice in the first place.
