5Buds is a locally owned cannabis retail shop, 100% homegrown in Saskatchewan.
Our story began when four friendly Indigenous investment companies came together in a meeting early in 2018. Being good neighbors, the four knew each other and some had worked with others in the past. But never before had all four of them joined forces on a single venture.
In the spring of 2018, Canada was about to make history by legalizing cannabis. We were fortunate enough to get a chance to be a part of it. Our stores in Warman, North Battleford and Yorkton will be open in 2018 and spring 2019.
Our four founding members – Prince Albert First Nations Business Development, Peter Ballantyne Group of Companies, Des Nedhe Development, and Athabasca Basin Development – are each different but they do have one thing in common. All four members are proud to be good citizens, giving back to their communities and working to improve the lives of the Indigenous communities that own them.
We are proud to support local non-profit organizations in the communities in which we operate, and proud that the profits from 5Buds go towards building wealth and economic development opportunities for thirteen First Nations in Saskatchewan.

I can't believe I got turned away just because the cashier asked if I smoked weed today, and when I said I smoked weed ashes, she told me they couldn't sell to people who smoke in the morning. What kind of ridiculous rule is that? It's honestly so messed up. I wasn't even impaired, just doing my thing, and they treat me like I'm some kind of criminal. I won't ever go back there. The new weed store's selection is amazing though, and it's closer, so at least there's that. But honestly, it just sucks that this is how people are treated these days. It feels like you can't even enjoy yourself without being judged. Guess I'll have to keep looking for a place where I'm not made to feel like I'm doing something wrong.

I have never had a bad experience at this location. The staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable.
Absolutely trash customer service!!! I got denied service because I didn't have my ID, but I do have a copy on my cell phone which wasn't good enough for the store clerk. So I say, that's fine and leave to my truck. I give my wife money, who has a ID by the way to buy me my product and the store clerk tells her that she knows she's buying it for me in the truck and that she can't sell it to her because we'd be technically "bootlegging". So I get my wife's mom who also has a ID to go inside for us and she is also denied service because she came from MY TRUCK.
Idk what's wring with this store but the workers were very un professional and seemed very racist towards me, my wife and my mother inlaw. Would not recommend!! Any 5buds away from la ronge is 1000x better then these guys.
