Since 2009 we’ve been dreaming up spaces for Cannabis lovers to feel at home. As smokers ourselves, we were sick and tired of sketchy alleys leading to bargain basements that made us feel like we were doing something wrong.
Canadians deserved something better, and so we opened our first Smoker’s Corner head shop in downtown Calgary that same year. Finally a bright, clean, welcoming place where marijuana enthusiasts could gather and geek out about cannabis culture – weed, bongs, pipes, vaporizers and our love of the plant!
After legalization, we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to selling Cannabis (man, sometimes we still can’t believe it’s finally legal).
Canna Cabana was created for people who loved weed (still do) and want to buy it, smoke it, and talk about it in a playful, safe environment. We call that a Cabana and we built it for you!

I've been a loyal customer to this chain since the legalization of cannabis.
I have shopped at multiple locations in the Ottawa area such as; Byward, Rideau and Elmvale... I have never had any issues until buying from Brookdale.
Everytime I attend this location, there are always issues, upon issues.The kiosks are always out of order or damaged, which is one of the key components of why this was my default store..
I can just look and take my time, without all the social anxiety of having to speak with Budtenders.. With the kioks, I can visually see what the product looks like and personally determine wether the product is worth the price.
Today, I was basically ripped off by canna cabanna! I guess there was an issue with the P.O.S,.. I tap my card, and wait for a receipt.. Nothing. So I kindly ask for some assistance.. Thinking to tap again, because hopefully it was a card reader issue.
It was not.. I ended up paying for the product twice! So I politely asked if there was anything we could do?
She unfortunately informed me that there was simply nothing she could do!
There was no trace of the transaction in there system.
I showed her my mobile banking transaction history. So she had me send a screenshot of the issue, and send it to their store manager... still awaiting for a follow up.
I basically left empty handed with nothing, being told I would recieve a refund..
However I have no idea how thats going to happen if there is no record of those transactions t ..
service and recommendations from the employees is amazing. wish all stores gave such good service. I highly recommend and BTW try out the vapes they are worth it
The ladies working this morning in this store (cornwall) might be the most unintelligent people when it comes to customer service/product knowledge. The two woman this morning let 4-5 people wait at the door while they drank coffee and giggled with one other customer.
No name tags. No greetings, just being yelled from the cashes that they will be there soon. This store never has the product you're looking for and then the staff complaining about putting 60 cases of their truck away, it's flower.. The Oz store in cornwall is a much better option. I will be calling head office. If you can't run this store with 2 people on shift find a new job.. Never an issue when the men and other staff are in the store. Also bought a bong they forgot the bowl and downstem when they packed it up.. Store is a straight mess.
Today I had the pleasure to be helped by an extremely nice gentleman he understood what I was looking for and delivered.
