I absolutely love the sydney river an sydney and Glace bay stores just been at sydney river most cuz of selection, (new waterord yikes) I haven't meet a nicer staff then the people I've meet at the sydney river location. They really care about there job an man, they don't rush you, there friendly as can be, very understanding, I cant say enough about how they made me feel like I was still a medical patient even though I had to go for recreational source with the mail delay, when I say I've been to cannabis dispensers all over Canada I mean all over martimes , legal or Grey, all over Alberta before legalization and man this store Friendliest an if they dont know, it does not take much for them to understand what you mean, they know cannabis. Legalization has gotten way better, ty to the kind staff at the sydney river locations, although only bad one was new waterford lol

Rating based on NSLCs in general. I've been to most in CB and this one seems to have the best selection. It also has the largest Cannabis section as well. Staff have all been very friendly and helpful anytime I've spoken with them. This is my go to store.

I just had the most intellectually stimulating educational discussion with Clint about vodka and other products!! He was so informative and helpful and knowledgeable that i walked out saying "wow"! Very unusually refreshing! I just got back from Alberta and had some amazing local vodka and was inspired to explore the ones here which led me to ask many questions and Clint seemed to confidently have answers for all my nerdy questions! I loved it! I recommend the NSLC host an educational seminar and hire this guy to host it! He is a gem!

Back during the pandemic this was the only dump you could get a hold of a literal junk weed nuisancing countries in the east because the dump clowns were too stupid to raise kids how to properly understand business and instead blame customers and the government for poor coordination and management. If the government had them sell Cannabis out of convenience stores like tobacco, you wouldn't look like a such a failure government and your rollout of a new concept was horrifyingly incompetent. You only empowered the inadequate members of society by funneling them and their families into exploitable energy industries instead of raising them to care and cultivate their communities... This store taught me how states can fail purely out of some greedy desire to live life as efficiently as you can. Capitalizing on the slower ones around you to escape the bear of responsibility. Failed state. That's Canadian socialism, sacrifice your family member for a CRA cheque. Cheers
