Really enjoyed the ice cream. Excellent flavours and cone choices.
Awesome gas station now with Cannabis dispensary. I really love the close access, and reasonable prices. Completely legal and everything is taxed, so smoking it benefits everyone 😂
If you're there for Cannabis, they have a red book at the counter with a list of everything available, however it's hard to understand what it all means if you're in a rush or are new to purchasing from a dispensary. I recommended just getting a pre-roll if you are new, as it's really hard to learn how to roll, and other ways of consuming usually require expensive and fragile equipment.
Other than that they have the usual things at gas stations, like energy drinks and road snacks, and obviously gas.
An AirBnB host told us to stop here for smoked salmon prepared by a retired Baie Verte school teacher. Wow, so delicious! Worth the stop for salmon alone but they also had a wide selection of drinks, snacks, food & fresh baked items like blueberry tea buns. The washrooms were clean & the workers were friendly.
The wheelchair paddles on the front entrance are out of order and have been for quite some time. In addition the doors are very heavy and difficult to open.
Called to inquire about an item and was told by the lady working it's too busy and unless I'm in the store I can't be helped, and proceeded to hangup.
First, I'm in St. John's and asking about this for someone whos in this town but doesnt have time,
Second, it can't be that busy in the boonies at 2:30PM on a SUNDAY, compared to the "Busy" we deal with here.
Maybe check with your employee's to better their customer service skills and how they present themselves over the phone/when asked about specific items and don't have them tell the customer to "Show up and look" I'm unsure how things work in the boonies but if this happened with an employee in town it wouldn't fly, specially the attitude that was presented.
You're an employee if you have customers you can tell the person on the phone to wait, not "show up and look in the store", it's Sunday I can wait for you to "deal with your busy customers".
If i do ever come back to this town, this is the last store I'll show up too.
