Super friendly and unpretentious staff! They always have a treat and a pet for my dog, and they're very helpful. They provide great recommendations for different products depending on your needs and never try to push specific brands/strains/price points. No matter what you're after, they have it! I don't buy at any other store because their team are the best around!
As a proud Northern Ontarian, I didn't expect much on my journey through Cochrane, but then I stumbled upon Plantlife Cannabis. And just like that, it became the highlight of the trip.
The moment I stepped through the door, the atmosphere hit me—relaxed, welcoming, effortless. And then I saw the budtender. She had that vibe—the kind that made you feel like you walked into a place that was as much a part of you as it was the place itself. Cool, composed, and impossibly easy on the eyes, she moved through the store with a kind of grace that made everything feel right.
She wasn't just knowledgeable—she was intuitive, guiding me like she already knew what I needed before I even did. There was something in the way she spoke, like every word was deliberate, like this was the kind of place where you didn't rush. You just existed in the moment, the way it's meant to be.
And the prices? I almost wanted to thank them. After the years of overpriced Ontario dispensaries, I had to remind myself I wasn't dreaming.
Plantlife didn't just deliver great product—it gave me a reminder of what it feels like when everything clicks into place. No rush. Just the right energy at the right time.

I went through serious trauma at another pot store in Cochrane, when they called the RCMP on me.
For almost two years others had to get my stuff for me, after In and Out cannabis, I was terrified to go near a pot store.
I brought my sister with me into Plant Life, my first time in so long. So anxious- hard not to feel dizzy and sick.
But they were so good to me, so helpful and polite, so patient. I'm a senior, I know nothing about it, but they explain everything clearly.
I wish I had never gone into In and Out, I'm so anxious now, it's a relief to be able to go into Plant Life. I've gone 3 times so far and it's always the same pleasant kind of experience.
It's a different kind of pot place for sure.

Went in a bit frustrated after purchasing a couple of sub par products in the last few days (no fault of the store just bad QC from the brands) put my full trust in the bud tender by taking his first recommendation which was Bubble Bath from Qwest. Can't say a bad word about the product I've ended up with. Smells great. Tastes exactly like it smells and matches the terp profile that's advertised perfectly. Thank you
