Lake City Cannabis is family owned and operated by Ryan and Chelsea Roch. Their love and passion for cannabis runs deep, and educating customers is their focus. When Cannabis was legalized in Canada on October 17th, 2018, the need for education became more important than ever. Lake Citys goal is to provide extensive product knowledge in a relaxed open atmosphere.
Lake City Cannabis is also very committed to giving back to the community. We offer educational programs to community group and non-profits. My husband and I are relatively new customers to this store as we recently moved to Chestermere. He had a fantastic experience the first few times he visited and made purchases, even excitedly telling me about how fancy and clean the store is, but his most recent visit was extremely disappointing. He purchased a Back Forty branded disposable which although we enjoy, we've encountered issues with two times previously. These disposables have a semi-frequent issue where they don't pull the concentrate through the coil properly, burning the coil. Sometimes you can fix it by warming it up enough but other times it's impossible to fix and will hit drier and drier every time (unusable by the 5-6th pull). We have had the two previous ones that had this issue replaced with zero return/exchange issues at other stores as they were aware that this happens with this brand. So, the day he purchased this (Monday or Tuesday I believe) he called the store to mention the issue and was told to "keep trying and bring it in when he can for a replacement if it doesn't work". So, after working overtime the next two days, he was finally able to bring it in. Keep in mind that we had not used it during this time as we very quickly realized that it had the common Back Forty issue and had other options for the time being. We kept the original packaging and receipt. So, when my husband brought the faulty dispo back in yesterday evening, the store took the faulty one (as required of course) and ..

I can't say enough good things about Madiy at Lake City Cannabis. She goes above and beyond every single time I come in. She made sure to order extra stock of the specific gummies I need to help manage my disability—and because of her, I haven't had any issues finding them since.
She always recognizes me the moment I walk in and even checks the stock for me before I ask. That kind of care and consistency means so much, especially when you're relying on something for your health and well-being.
The whole team is awesome—shoutout to Ryan and Alex too!—but this review is for Madiy. She's truly one of a kind, and Lake City is lucky to have her!
Side note, the shop is SO clean, fresh and really the best prices in town. Don't skip this place thinking you're getting "more" from the cheaper places!
