Got off the hop on hop off bus here and did a quick stroll. Beautiful, quaint location with a lot of history, shopping, and eateries. Would be great to spend more time here. Very enjoyable place and well worth a visit. I understand that there are tours, brewery and distillery tastings. Unfortunately we did not have time.

There's something about this place that makes you feel like you've left the city without ever leaving it. The cobblestone streets, the quiet hum of conversation, the way the light hits the brick walls just before sunset—it all lingers in your mind longer than it should. It's not loud. It's not rushed. It doesn't try to impress you. It doesn't have to. You walk around and realize most people aren't really looking up. But if you do, you'll see why this place pulls people back again and again. Maybe it's the scent of roasting coffee, or the hidden corners that feel like a secret kept just for you. Don't come here just to take pictures. Come when you need to slow down and remember what presence feels like.

Best place to visit in Winters. And if you stay in downtown and want peace and less crowd and quality people - this should be your go to place. The place always gives vintage, rustic and 1900's vibe. And time to time, there's movie shoot's lined up so you might get a chance to be a responsible background talent in one of the shots. Parking can be an issue on weekends so preferred walking around.

Great tourist area to visit during the summer time with lots of eateries, shops, and vendors. It's pedestrian access only, and consists of a few streets that have a historic vibe. Although it's also a popular destination during the winter, it's freezing to walk outside. I recommend visiting during the summer. There's no line ups.

The Distillery Historic District in Toronto offers a unique blend of history, art, and culture. With its well-preserved Victorian industrial architecture and pedestrian-only cobblestone streets, it provides a distinct atmosphere that sets it apart from other areas of the city. Visitors can explore galleries, artisanal shops, cafes, and restaurants, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists. While the district is visually charming and often hosts seasonal events and markets, it can become crowded during peak hours, especially on weekends. Some may also find the prices at shops and eateries on the higher side. Overall, The Distillery District is a worthwhile visit for those interested in architecture, local art, and curated shopping experiences, though it may be best enjoyed during quieter times for a more relaxed atmosphere.
